I am tired of the muscle car hobby and all the easy-to-find made-in-china reproduction parts. I need a project where I have to search for parts, hammer them out, and polish them. I found a 57 Dodge 1/2T truck with virtually no rust and need to talk with someone out there who knows more about these things than me. Mostly, I don't want to get in over my head during the project - I want to always be able to easily sell without losing money. That's the only way I can self-justify a car/truck project. The 57 truck is easily better looking than the early fifties Dodges and nothing is uglier than the 58-60 Dodge trucks. I think I found a winner here, but need someone to give me the required nudge to spend money.
welcome, Only spend what you want to. If it gets into living money then its too much. I have never gone into a project with a thought of I gotta build this ,and think of getting my money out. hotrodding is a bottomless pit. m/o
