Depending on $$$, I'd have to consider another PT Cruiser (flame away), a BMW Mini, a BMW 120d (the new 1 series w/the euro spec diesel, 2.0L 200hp, 50mpg), or maybe a Caddy CTS-V coupe (6-spd) when that comes out next year....I've got enough trucks, I want something that'll handle in the twisty's.

If you're serious about buying a new Magnum, or any other Chrysler product, shoot me a P.M. As long as I'm still employed there, I can get you a control number that get's you employee price (except on Vipers, Wranglers, STR's & Sprinters).

Man I love the looks of the new HHR panel.

I am a Ford guy right to my blue blood and MAN I dig this vehicle.

I can see it with older Chev 16" hubcaps, some Early Suburban chrome medallions just to give it character and call it good.

Throw my logo on the panels and lower it of course.

I would buy a turbo diesel 4x4 truck, or supercharged v8 truck for daily and hauling/towing or a nice Porsche 911 turbo for fun. I don't like many new cars, too much unnecessary electrical crap.

  7. I bought an '05 Magnum R/T and I love it. More power than you can legally use and all the comforts of home. 22 mpg on the highway to boot. It's not a prius but then again nothing else looks like a custom right out of the factory.

  8. I'm happy to see all the Magnum supporters on the site. I have been looking at them for a few weeks, and just trying like hell to get a great deal on the car. The honest truth is I really can't afford a new R/T, but I have found a few new 2006's, and a 2005. The prices on these cars vary, but I am trying not to spend over 22g's. I have so far gotten close to that on a 2006, never owned, but they wouldn't budge past $24500. The one I'm looking at tomorrow is a 2006 R/T, they are asking $24995. Again, I'm gonna shoot for 22g's. I've also found a new 2005 R/T, never owned but it has 10000 miles, supposedly the dealer owner's miles. Hopefully by the end of the weekend I'll have a new ride, as it's about 37 degrees outside and as much as I love to ride motorcycles, I've been freezing my balls off lately.

I'd go for the "Blue Devil" Corvette, or whatever it's called, that's going to be a step above a ZO6... Hang on boys!!

  12. Thanks Tony. I've given some thought to a new truck, but I've owned so many (I still own 3) trucks that I really want to get into a newer car, although I have thought about the Colorado (I just can't shake this minitrucker mentality).

Well we're almost done paying on our '05 Pontiac Vibe (say what you want damn thing gets nearly 35mpg). Once we get out '06 Volvo S40 paid off I really want a Honda Ridgeline - incredably confortable (even for 4) and still has a bed AND a trunk.

After my bad experiences with chrysler products I can't bring myself to buy a charger - Love the Hemi HATE the tranny, way too much electronic crap ruining my driving fun.

We own a 2004 Chevy Suburban and a 2006 Dodge Charger RT Daytona in Go-Man-Go! the charger is great. tons of power, does great burn outs, just turn of the traction control and i get to register it as a Sedan (love 4 doors) Been beating the shit out it for two years with no issues. May trade it in for the Challenger when the come out

Still not the same feeling as our old cars.

    I'd trade-in my 2000 E430 for a 507h.p. V-8 E63 AMG.
0-60 in 4.3 seconds and 20 mpg. Sweeeeet.

If money were no object, a Lamborghini Murcielago, of course.

The first decision to be made is do you want a car or a truck?

The one and only "new" car I bought was this one...

I'm not a Mustang guy at all, and I generally hate Fords. But this car was NICE. 2001 Bullitt. There are so many styling cues that differentiate it from every other GT mustang (and they look a LOT better). It's got a 4.6 with slightly more power than a GT and a better torque with more low end. The 5-speed made it fun to drive. It's got -very- comfortable seats (bullitt only) that are far superior to a regular GT. It's got Cobra spec big inch front brakes. Comes from the factory with louder mufflers. 13.75 1/4 mile stock. Numerous other little details....the only reason I got rid of it was because I couldn't afford both the payments.

When I sold it, I bought a '98 Chevy reg. cab, short/wide bed. It's got the 5.7 and automatic. Lowered it and have been driving the piss out of it for about a year. It's not low mileage, but has been pretty dependable. And the styling can't be beat.

the only way i would buy a new vehicle is if i won the lottery, when i have 25000 laying around i buy real estate.i just bought a 2002 fullsize chevyvan w/70000 miles has a 5.7 and is fully loaded for 8,500. last year i bought a 99 eldo w/29000 miles for 10000,its all used the day after you buy it anyway.

Well, my dailies are a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis LSE and a lifted 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Grand Marquis is for sale. (Want to free up some $$$ for the Riv as I don't need 2 DD's) My girlfriend drives a '99 Audi A4 Quattro sport. It's actually a pretty fun little car.

Edit...hmmmm.... I just noticed after reading this, I seem to have "Grand" taste in vehicles.....

every one needs a truck, especially if you have a house or are planning on buying a house. the drawback, they suck on fuel. my last 3 vehicles, the only new ones i have ever owned were trucks. forst was a ranger, which was very reliable and great on gas, the only thing i ever owned that was good on gas. then i got a quad cab 4.7 1500 4x4 dodge, loaded, awsome truck, really nice ride for a truck, but i noticed a trend, almost everytime i used it as a ruck, i was overloading it so bad i was bottoming it out. the back seat wasnt the most comfy and i dont have kids, so i decided i needed a 3/4 ton i traded it on a reg cab 8' bed with the hemi 4x4. got 4.10s posi, snow plow prep... its a good truck, sucks on gas, decent power, rides kind of stiff. the ride gets old, i dont need the 4x4 here in nj, and im starting to think one day in the near future it might be time to have some kids. im kind of stuck, i dont know if i want to get a car and keep the truck or trade the truck for a quad cab 2wd 3/4 ton maybe a diesel. for cars i really like buicks, i have seen the fwd v-6 run forever tons of miles. i rented a lacrosse once and i felt liek iwas driving around in my living room it was so damn comfy. i have been telling my wife ever since, im buying one of those.

That's easy: A new Mustang GT convertible. The new ones resemble the original style Mustangs so I get a somewhat old style look in a brand new car. The GT because it a V8 and I'm a hot rodder who needs the power. The convertible because my wife wants it. And surprisingly the Mustang is relatively easy for her to get in and out of even with her bad back. My wife and I have always wanted a Mustang. She wants a new one, me, I'd prefer a semi-restored, hot rodded 70 fastback. With the new Mustang, she gets what she wants and I get a Mustang that resembles a 70. Gotta keep your Lady happy. Besides I have the 48 F1 and the parts for the AV8.
