Looks like a possible Lifestyles member vehicle. Though I'm not sure at all.

i believe Lowrider Magazine did a full feature on that Suburban early this year(jan/feb/march?), check their website for the past features you can browse. i believe it said that it was from Pico Rivera, i forgot what club he flew with but i don't think he was in lifestyle. i've seen it around quite a bit i think it was at Paso as well??

It looks like Gabacho LBC's suburban here on the HAMB.

I'm loving the paint color on that one, and the interior. There is a write up in the February 2006 Cl***ic Trucks mag.

It says it is owned by Danny Hernandez in Pico Rivera, CA

Wheels are all Wheelsmith 16x5's and the tires are all Dunlop 275/70R16's.

As for the stance, it says he used a TCI front crossmember with air ride, and parallel leafs with air ride (I ***ume stock?) in the rear.

    Hope that helps!

The paint on that Burb is way too nice to be mine. At one time I thought I would re-paint, but you can't buy originality so I am going to leave the 58 year old paint on it.

I'm sorry but I just can't call laying flat on the ground "stance", and that wheel/tire combo is the same as the thousands you see on everything everyday.
Which is not to say the truck isn't really nice, just that that picture doesn't have any pizazz at all. SOS as they say.

I can't say I completely agree... the stance may be just dropped on the ground low, but looking at all of the pieces of this truck, interior, wheel selection, engine and engine bay, it seems like one of the more perfect trucks I've seen. It's really well put together (at least from the photos) and very well thought out. It all really "works".

I know that the 16" wheels are pretty common, but not so much on full fender cars and trucks... usually people are using the 15"-ers as they are cheaper, and easier to find.

Not saying you're 100% wrong, just that the photos in this thread definitely do not do it justice. :)

Nope, I happen to love that truck, and have that issue at home. ;) The interior just rules, and both the interior and exterior colors are almost perfect.

  22. Yeah, it belongs to Danny, I talked to him at the Wings Wheels & Rotors show a week ago - I've always liked this one too!

    Here's a few pics I've shot...

Well with this being said I am glad mine is not laying on the ground with that fancy air ride stuff. :D Just lowered mine with the hopes of finding the right "stance". I must be living in the wrong place if someone is seeing thousands of these everyday with the same wheel and tire combo. I guess I better get on the hunt for a pair of 16" Artillery wheels to change the daily combo up a little. Oh wait that combo might be like the other thousands you see on everything everyday. All I see rolling around the LBC now everyday are a bunch of 20's 22's 24's..

SOS as they say? Hmmm...I think that was one of the most ***inine statements I've read on this board in a while, seriously. "Stance" is not an aesthetic interpretation--it's literal, be it high, low, or somewhere in-between, regardless if that makes it immobile or not.

I'm with Gabacho on this one, but I'm afraid that along with the mul***ude of slammed, whitewalled vehicles, you're also surrounded by shiny, unidentified flying objects in the sky.

SoCal, thanks for the great pics of Danny's Suburban, the attention to detail on the thing seems amazing. Is Danny a member on this board? If not, does anyone know of a way to contact him. I would really like to pick his brain regarding some styling cues on my Sub.

Thanks guys for input thus far.

holy hell....man could that suburban be any cleaner?!? that is ***S

  29. A former coworker knows who built that Suburban. I think it might've been his cousin. PM me if you want me to try getting contact info. Yeah, that seafoam green is perfect for it, and a restored maroon Suburban is what got me loving the Chevy AD's. Panels, not just Chevy's, are that much better, probably because they seem a little more industrial/utilitarian.

    Thanks,
    Kurt

Yea, I know the one who restored the burb. He is in Whittier. He has done other cars that have been in LowRider Mag. This guy is always working on one project or another.

If you want to contact him pm me your name and Ph# and I'll p*** it on.
