I’d like to thank all the racers who came out to the finals and made it one of the best weekends of racing we have seen in a long time. There were 220 cars on the grounds for the make up of the Cool August Nights event and the 2007 ANRA finals. It proved to be a long weekend for all involved, but in the end all the hard work paid off. i don't know why more people on this site don't come out to the anra. if your street car can't be driven down the track, build something that will. we have more fun in open wheel class than anything i ever did when i was a street rodder. also no one has ever said i should put a sbc in my flathead powered bantam, change the '55 chevy truck front axle to a tube or any of the other dumb a## sheep minded crap i got from street rodders. imagine that. i also won 150. bucks for the finals. my little flatty put a few 9 and 10 sec cars on the trailer too.
