oh come on girls sanding poly putty and body filler isnt that bad. The key is to pile the body filler extra thick the first coat. Air board it down so its only a little low. Then put a thick layer of Poly putty(easy sand/icing/w-e you like) and then cut that with 80 till your in the neighborhood, and smooth it with 180. I do it every day, nice and easy. Being patient is the key.

HAHA I get yelled at if I don't say plastic body filler. Saying the word "bondo" is a huge no no.

    Yeah,....you're right!

Sanding is ****....just paint it flat back and put red steelies on it:D

btw...in Aussieland, we call Bondo "Bog"...I dunno why but?

  12. looks like some air filing on the RH side:( to me, all i ever got out of body work is 2 hands w carpel tunell [had both cut]and cant breath any more  , not very good feeling for the long term
used to love it when I had a customer who was ambitious and in 2 hr we were done on wet sanding and then on too masking and shooting, did many a job in a short time, now just a memory and dreading doing my 30 fd A

I was wondering what happened to this thing. As fast as this board moves I suppose it could be missed. Looks *****in' though. Can't wait to see it in paint. Go Go Go!

    nice car
sanding does ****, but if you simply put it on smooth to begin with you dont have to sand at all just kidding
if you dont have an inline sander get one
itll save you alot of time and effort, just stick that 80 on there and let er rip plust keeps it a lot flatter than you can do by block and hand

Sanding is so, unbelievably time consuming. I go from "getting into it" to thinking about my own mortality to "dang, a taco sure does sound good about now".....
