Thanks all for coming out and supporting us--And thanks to the Sock ****ers for calling me at home, after I was fed, showered and already in my warm jammies snoozing on the couch. It's always worth sitting around a burn barrel with you guys. Next March, I'll be sure to bring a full Mason jar.

It's a ton of work, but always fun, and always worth it. Suzi, Andrew (aka Boy Wonder) and I really appreciate the support of everyone, and especially our friends here on the HAMB.

We were making plans on the way home to grow it bigger and better for next March...

It was cool hangin out with Brad and Stevie Sunday. Next campout time I'll round up some crybaby dolls to use as fire starter material. !!

 

Did get to meet you thumper. But maybe next time. Look for red 55' chevy or 50' pick-up with grumpy ed's on the side.

 

Andrew.....big march meat (steaks) you make it here, and we head down in something cold to drive in!?!

 

You and Ed need to bring a tent and hang out with us all night next year!

Gotta give Mellisa (dvanecek's better half)props for hang'in in there with the rest of us dumb-***es. By midnight I think she was doing better wheelies on the three wheeler than the rest of us .

I'm game. We need our friends from the north back. Actually we you and your families back her for good. We all miss you guy's and your gal's. (Ray will probably 7 foot tall next time we see her)

Sorry I missed the deal... I wanted to stop by, bt I was comitted to helping out at the Car Show and Swap Meet we had over at Peach State Speedway the same day (Saturday)
We had been planing it and advertising it for a while (couple months I guess), and I was locked in to helping there. Would of loved to see what you had. (Yeck if nothing else to see who had more stuff... hahahaha)
I heard you came over to our show, Wish I had met you face to face before I would of said hi. I was the guy selling the tickets to get in.
How was your turnout Saturday. We were hoping for more, but wasn't disappointed for our first show. We had a decent amount of vendors, and about 20-25 cars in the car show by the end of the day. A dozen or so of the cars that came can be saw at the Peach State site http://www.peachstspeedway.com/News-2007-11-04.htm

 

Margarita's were excellent. Maybe in march if melissa comes wwe can have happy hour nd hour nd hour nd hour there instead!

 

HI Brad... Sorry about the conflict. We got a new manager over at PSS and no one there had heard about you having a two day show that weekend until we had started advertising oursa for that date.
I think we figured we'd do ours on Saturday the same weeend as yours,... that way vendors could come to ours on Saturday, and then yours on Sunday.
I would have come Sunday, but the church I attend had picture day, and I had to go to church, and then make pictures, and by the time I got home it was 2:30 or so, and I was ready to just crash for the day.
The date we had 'had' to come before our last race of the season, and that is this weekend. SO with everything going on and things laid out the way it was, kindaa left us with last weekend as our only option. Like I said no one knew until the last minute there was a conflict and you had a two day show.
I think we are gonna start doing shows every month, but probably the second Saturday every month. SO it looks like we are trying to not conflict and compete against you if at all possible. No sense in having them on the same day... it only hurts both of us.
As far as what David may have offered anyone. I have no knowledge of that. I DO know I took all the money in for tickets, cars, vendors etc. Not a person came in without paying. All vendors, etc paid full price to set up.
