While I am wainting for my 54 Ford mild custom to arrive I was hoping you all had some inspirational phots to post. I will trow mine up when I get it. Thanks
here's my 53 Ford convertible that I owned in the 70's. Anybody know where it is now? It was aparently in the Kelowna, B.C. area in the early 90's.
heres the two that i look to most for iinspiration on my 53. Jimmie Vaughn's 54 and a Sam Barris chopped 54 merc. look here also: http://public.fotki.com/Rikster/11_...like/ford_custom_cars/52-54_ford_custom_cars/
Here's a thread I ran a while back - mine's the first photo http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=93370&highlight=flatattack
Looky Here! The Flaming Eggplant before and after. The old pictures are of the '54 Coupe I owned back in '66 when I was in the Army (That's my Dad's yellow '40 Chevy 2 door sedan) Plus a couple more.
The funds from the car I sold should be in the bank tommorow. Then it's time to get 54 home. A little info on it. Sheved handle, Nosed and decked, shaved tunck, custom filler door,55 Pontiac rear bumper, Pontiac side trim, 59 t-bird front bumper and grill, frenched headlights, frenched Olds tail lights, All door and hood corners rounded. Blocks and coils to bring it down. Ford 351C,C4, 9. Siiting in a nice shade of Grey Primer with a Matte clear on it, ready for paint or driveit as is. Got it from a super nice older guy that has tons of cool sh#$. He needed room for his chopped 50 merc project. I will post pics when I get it home. I have been browesing every pre 62 custom magazine I own to get ideas for it, although most of the cool sh*& is done.
