    Howdy gentlemen,

We'll be there for our fourth show & tell as promised. And we're looking forward to it again. The last three've been fun, this one'll be no exception. Hope Butch can park us in the same spot ...... nice view of the lanes.

It'd be nice to see some displays on the part of you other builders as well. We're really hoping to be joined by your projects in the works, every car we can muster shows more of just how much interest there is in this cl***. When we had three of us there the folks were really up-beat about the HAMBsters.
Also, any Gerbils in the works are more than welcome as well. After all, we're two sides of the same coin.
Hell, we can feud later, when there're enough of us to make it fun.

Now some of you have balked at the situation we're having to start with out here and want to hold off any building until "there's somewhere to run'em". Well gentlemen, that sword cuts both ways. It'll be a damn sight easier to get "somewhere to run'em" when we show'em we have something we ****** well want to run, and not just "if you'll please let me, sir ....." That's the basic nature of starting something new of any sort.
We can (and sooner or later WILL) get a toe-hold out here in the "Republik of Kalifornia" , so drag out what you have, let'em see it and let's make it sooner.

    OK, rah-rah over.
Hell, I must've only wanted to look over what we'll be up against anyway, right? :p

Since I bought the Hamb Nationals winning car I really want to come to Bakersfield next year. I am getting the engine parts together now and hope to fire it up sometime in the spring. Is the November meet the better date to shoot for or some other date? I need to make long range plans { read that as save money} to come there. It would be a great thing because the last time I was at Bakersfield was I believe 1964. How many are building cars in California? Are there any building in adjoining states like Arizonia? We could have a real get together at a central site somewhere in between.:D Roy
