I gotta start off with thanking Tommy and Dale (2ratical)for their help. They took care of pulling the 48 banjo rear apart and flipping things around so the spring is mounted up front now. Plus a ton of other help. We got the rollbar weled to the back of the frame and got it off of the frame table today.
Johnnylonghair and BrITCHER took care of the back of the cab and ScaryLarry and Sumo took care of repairing the sides.
Thanks to all that helped!! I don't have any more pics. I was too busy. Some of the other guys got some good shots. Nappy took care of cooking lunch. I think he wanted to cut the hotdogs with the plazma cutter but we wouldn't let him. Hell...Assgasket even showed up and helped a good bit. Clark
If I had known about this last week-end, I woulda been there... I'm glad to help any way that I can... Plasma cutters are fucking amazing..... I'm glad I caught this before the project was done... see everyone tomorrow....
. 4 monkeys...1 football This pretty much tells the story. people working on both ends and others slaving away in the stall next to it. . They was no back of the bucket in the morning. A few hours later...the bucket will hold water. . Dale and I rearranged the old banjo. I don't think the radius rods bounced twice before someone had lopped off the ends and new bungs were welded on. . patch panels were being fabricated while suspension work, custom carb adapters and who knows what else was going on. . sparks were flying all day. You'd better be paying attention or you'd get run over. "get out the way bitch!" . This ain't no jack leg shit either. There is some fine craftsmanship going on all over the garage at a fast pace. Engineering and reengineering on the fly, but the outcome is really impressive. The body got a new back and patch panels were fabed and installed. The front suspension was mocked up and installed. The roll bar/rear crossmember was fabbed and installed. The rear spring mount and gas tank brackets were being designed and fabed when Dale and I wimped out about 5 in the afternoon. We had a blast. There was more bullshit flying than at a cattle drve. I had a blast.
I see more got done after we left. Someone did a nice clean up job! That's not why we left early...really!
curious, how many guys were there each day? sounds like ten yesterday and nine the first day and thirteen last Sunday? so somewhere around thirty two man days? Paul
I'll post my pics too. And here are the links to the threads for the first 2 days of building... Day 1 Day 2 Off for Day 4 after doing some Mom's day duties...

Everyone in ND lives so far from everyone makes this kinda stuff hard. Kick ass work, you guys wanna come to my place? i have a T that needs it! Aaron
That's coming along real good. I got one request, could you do a group shot and put names to people? I recognize some of the guy's but not all. Be cool to put names with faces. later plmczy
Why do the captions read like Paulie is narrating them on OCC? In my head they do anyway. Looks good, I like the cowl treatment.
I have to add that these guys are creative as all get out. They are also very fast in turning a pile of junk into a fine ride. Clark, sorry for leaving the mess. I had great time and will try to get back next weekend. Dale
60's Style....we work from 10 to 5 and usually have a couple of guys standing around and goofing off. It's hard keeping everybody busy. Your count sounds about right. I wonder how many man hours we have in it. Clark
