1961 falcon ranchero part question

    i was wondering if any one new if the engine compartment needs those export braces. If so will early mustang ones fit?

    It can't hurt, I believe it will fit but check some Falcon and MUstang parts suppliers and see what they offer.
    While you're at it, do the Shelby modification to the front suspension for better handling.

    No ,the Mustang won`t fit . I`ve tried .But they do make one thats for the Falcons. Hope this helps ,G***erman

    MPG makes an aluminum strut rod style with heim joints export brace. I have them on my Comet. They free up a lot of room; plus they're removeable to gain access to the master cyl. etc. They do look high tech ,though.
