I have been really wanting to start a new project that contributes to me getting a simple rod. So what better than building an A model front cowl and fire wall. I don't have access to an origonal unit to take messurments from or to take card stencils off. Can any one point me to any online resources that can give me a starting point. I'm not real fussy as to what year or even what make, Ford or Chev 27-32 is fine. The project the parts are intended for is hopefully going to be a carson top hiboy pickup with no doors just solid panel it's all about simplis***y.

    Thanks guys

  2. Twig, you are at the right place here, someone will be able to help you, but do an intro, or you'll catch hell.

For what it's worth I was doing a low dollar "A" and bought a new wheelbarrow from the local hardware store. Used it to fab a firewall and the leftover arms / wheel for a swap meet parts hauler.
