http://www.hemmings.com/cl***ifieds/carsforsale/ford/model_bb/531375.html the guy wants $4500 for it. and i think thats a bit to much. i was thinking $2800
what could you possibly want taht for? seems like the model A ones are worth like $500-1000 TOPS, idk... a 33 might be worth $1500? but what the heck you gonna do with all that oversized stuff?
if it was nicer i would have said yes. i mean if the doors and grille were real solid. watch the hinge areas on the doors. i thijnk you could buy one on ebay cheaper than that
That reminds me of the 32 coal truck that I looked at 20 years ago. The guy wanted 2500 for it. The 4 cylinder ran and the power take off still would hoist the bed 20 feet in the air for coal delivery. He scoffed at the 800 that I offered him. A year later he called me back saying he would now accept my offer. Point is... offer what you think is right for you. Reality might set in for the seller some day. BTW the ad is correct... it's a 33.
Looks to be overpriced to me. If you think it is too much then it is, move on. There are still more out there.
i might go see it today, i will offer him what i think is reasonable and them give him my number if he ever wants to get rid of it. im thinkin like $2200 the model bbs seem to be higher priced than the aa's
His asking price IS outta line. I picked up a 34' bb truck in not as nice of condition this summer for $1700. Definitely worth that. I would say around $2500. would be a fair price to the seller and buyer. I think it is getting harder to put a price on things like this because complete NICE cabs are getting to be $2000 or more.
crescentwrencher, I am new to the HAMB. Is the 1934 dump truck still available or did you purchase it? I am looking for one.
