I a little help whittling up a br*** adapter for my y-block throw out bearing to a t-5 input shaft. Also, I need to weld up the y-block bellhousing to accept the t-5 then have the bellhousing decked? to even up the mating surfaces. Anyone have good experiences with local machine shops or know of one that has experiences with something like this?

    Thanks,
    ken

If you know any machinests in "plant maintenance" at a factory they might be able to guide you. I've got a guy at a factory that actually gets into figuring out what it'll take to do the job.Beware.. machinests are very **** (GOOD) about what they do. Good Luck.

Thanks for the replys, I'm going to try and work on it locally. I'd like to do it myself, I just don't have the tools. Casey - I'll call you today.

We are not ****,we just like to split thousndths!!but a good machinist knows when to zone out and when to make it to the fractional size.Being a welder has taught that calipers arent the last word. Thanks for the compliment driver!
