[ QUOTE ] It's tied!!!! [/ QUOTE ] The Continental Club has taken the lead!!! Great teamwork!!! Now, lets put the nails in the coffin!! Use big nails please!!!
This is unbelievable. I mean its the way it should be, but you know what I mean......I just found out about this poll and can't believe the support from all of you. Ya'll are what make that lil' ol club on S. Congress great. It's the loyalty from the patrons, the bands and the freakin great staff that make it like a family. For all of you that have been here, come back soon and often....I like your kind, and for those of you that haven't, what are you waitin' for? I truly appreciate your support and votes, not that I would have ever realized this voting thing was even going on, but the best part about it is we all are kicking a club's *** in Nashville, Home of CMT and CMT watchers. Hotwheel told me this afternoon we'd p*** 'em before midnight........keep the pedal to the metal boys and thanks again. If I may borrow a line from Barfly..."Drinks for all my friends". I'll be buying in Paso so come find me.....you know what I look like now.
El Jefe commended my BBQ at the Drags.....I take that as high praise from a Texan. You are from texas Steve? I voted for the Cont.
Tman, that is high praise. El Jefe is a BBQ connesu...uh, I mean he's a BBQ affician...uh, He like BBQ a lot!!!
For those that missed it, Bruce Willis got up on stage and blew the harp with the Paladins and Ted Roddy during Saturday afternoon's benefit at the CC... I was impressed.
Although I have also already been to the Continental Club (even bought the T-shirt ), I voted because it would STILL be the club I would most likely visit. Just be careful doing multiple votes guys, they might get wind of it and the losers might lodge some kind of appeal. Anyways, if I can come half way around the world to go to the Continental Club, then you people that live in the same country should be ashamed of yourself! BTW El Jefe, when I was there you were at the ****** Houston club. Would have been great to meet you and to see your cars. I guess it'll have to be next time. Actually, I'm a good mate of Peter Busher's who recorded an album "Beer Today, Gone Tomorrow" in Austin. I think he played a few nights at the club.
