    This is my new ch***is table, its 4' wide and 16' long w/ 1 1/8'' thick ground top...........mock-up begins..and only BAD things will come of it....Littleman

    1 1/8, gee if I remember right that's 45 lbs per square foot. Lil' overkill from Lil' Man. Cool.

    Now thats a nice lookin model on that there motorcycle lift!! No realy, that is just what every mechaneck needs in the shopp! I just wish my shop was big enough to fit it in!!!...Roach.

    Nick, I found the table at a local industrial shop that sells used stuff from thinning or failing companies and small shops...I cut 14 1/2'' off the legs and lowered it carefully back to the ground, then welded plates to the bottom of the legs and drilled and tapped for load levelers, I think the table is like 15'' off the ground now.............and stationary, but can move it with a bigger than me pinch bar, less than 1/4'' at a time, its heavy........I paid 419.00 for it, I believe less than its s**** weight worth...And I could not have built it on my own, just no way to handle that top plate with its size and weight.....Littleman.........and I am not building a Dragster at least this time....

    Wow, what a deal. I think I paid that much for my 30 x 40 x 3/4 top and some 2" tubing. Let's see, 16 x 4 x 45 = 2880. That comes to about .15 per pound.
