Well, after a bit of work, I think I have myself what almost appears to look like a Hot Rod. I went throught the rearend and replaced all the seals and ****oned up the majority of the suspension. I ordered my tires from Coker at SEMA and things are beggining to take shape.

Next on the list is getting the ladder bars and crossmember ****oned up, build a new floor and subframe and whack about 4 inches out of the top. I'm super happy with the overall look so far and am excited to get this thing going. I love the overall ride height and how tucked in the rear tires are. I'm learning a ton as I go and having a great time.

Here is a link to my previous post to show you what I started with:

Just wanted to give you guys a little update, let me know what you think.

    God Bless

    Hell yeah. That's good stuff.

I'm hoping for mine to be at the roller stage sometime next week.
If you weren't so far away I'd tell you to take my 4" chopped body and some of my cash (it needs some work) and give me yours. I really want an unchopped body!

I think i was reading your post as you were reading mine. You have a pretty sweet coupe on your hands as well. I thought about not chopping mine but I think I'm gonna go for it, maybe 3 inches, I dont know, I'm not much for heavy chops. Thanks for the kind words and goond luck on your build.

Great post and great pics. The last shot is HAMB calendar material.

Keep it going, can't wait to see it with 4" gone.

I remember your earlier post, and am glad to see the progress.

Car looks great, and I like your garage too.My son lives in northern CA, and your garage/house/sunshine remind me of his place.

Can't wait to see the finished product...................Woody

Are you going to do anything original or something we haven't seen in a long long time? I know it's your first attempt at a hot rod, but try to get past the kit car/bolt on stage and think out side the box during your build.......
