The guy is a broker. All he does is post that he needs a car transported and whoever takes on the job is the actual transporter. If you want a reasonable company and aren't in a hurry try Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS). I've used DAS a couple of times and never had any problems. They have GPS in their trucks and you can track them on your computer. If you want a more presonalized service try BenD, a HAMBER.

I used Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS) twice.
Never again! It really stands for Damaging Auto Service...

Yes, I have the pictures to show for it too...

First time, the driver dropped the upper level on the roof of my Wife's '01 Hyundai...

Second time, the driver let all the air out of the tires on my '88 F350 crew cab to get it on the trailer, smashed one of the hubcaps off the wheel, and destroyed the front license plate by letting it rub up on something...

    I wouldn't let DAS haul s**** metal...

I used kiwiscarriers to haul a car from Montana to Indiana and found them to be reliable. Cost was $1200.

DAS shipped my son's Silverado from Sacramento, CA to Detroit (Metro Airport area) a year ago this month. $790.00. Took about 11 days and arrived unharmed. Tracked it on GPS and computer too. That was kinda cool.
    Worked for us.

  10. Have a '32 being delivered from Georgia to Alberta - using A-A Auto Transport out of San Diego - I think they broker as well but seem to have good service so far - I'll let you know how it works out.
