    Hey fellas,
Being registered for quite a while now, reading and learning big time things in the Tech Archive, I finaly want to introduce myself here.

My name is Florian Fuchs, I live near Munich here in Germany; I´m 15 (turning 16, 14th of January) and I want to build me a hot rod

I went into the **** with ca. 10 years starting to buy US car mags. First I was really diggin Muscle Cars, then Kustoms and getting older and older (carwise & myself) I´m now stuck here with traditional hot rods. And now after 5 years of convincing my parents, they now allowed me to start the build.

I´ve got a 1929 Ford gas tank from which I wanted to build me a cowl aand do a RPU, but here we don´t have the perfect so cal roadster weather so the plans changed a bit. Now I want to go for a closed cab car, not quite sure if I should buy a body (Model Tcoupe or 29 PU) or if I should buy 29 PU doors and fab the rest of the body. The only probleme would be that I had to do a really good job on it, because I need to get a historical license or I would not be allowed to drive.

Okay that´s it for the first time,
    Thanks,
    Florian

I would imagine that somewhere in the EU there has to be an old body so you don't have to fab everything.........and WELCOME !

    Thanks to you all!

Yeah, there are some, and I also know where to find ´em, but over here you pay at least double the price for a body than in the US

Now I´m thinking about to import a project from the US..
