Hey, im probably an idiot but I found this car and thought it was a 28-29 model A 2 dr sedan, but after looking at different pics of others, I think that the cowl on what I found looks different. What do you think it is? Please help.

It is not a Ford, the dash looks like it may be a Chrysler product.

as you can see the firewall has a serious bubble to it, and it pops out with little clips so I think it might easily flip around for a firewall recess

Looking through old Classic Car magazine you see a whole bunch of similar style cars made by oddball-gonna-get-nowhere manufacturers such as Renault and Peugeot.

They obviously all worked in the same design office, much as modern car designers do, to come out with such bland and identical 'different' models of family box each year.

You could have some european car for all you know Briggs.

the NADA price guide has prices listed from 1926-1930. Were they made any more years than that? Anyone have a drivers side door for a whippet laying around?

That left rear fender is from a 1917-25 Model T Ford roadster.

The body looks like the 30 Willys Overland I have sitting in my garage that I just picked up at the Portland swap a little while back. The dash, cowl vent, belt line, all the same. Mine had a little brass name plate on one of the door sills. Let me know if your not in need of all the parts, I'm looking for parts. I have some parts I may be getting rid of as well like front fenders.
