Where to buy Mandrel bends?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by SamIyam, Nov 16, 2007.

  1. I usually buy from Summit... but they don't have the radius I need...

Anyone out there know of someone who supplies quality mandrel bends?

    I'm looking for 1 3/4" with a 6" radius and then 4" radius... a couple of each.

    Thanks!

    Sam.

I've been looking for 1 1/2 stainless, speedway seems to have a better selection. Have you checked them out?

Try Headers by Ed. I've bought from him for years. I cannot imagine him not having what you need.
One caution, he likes to talk and if you phone your order in he'll talk your leg off as long as it's on your dime.

I've used the Chassis Shop several times and had good luck. They sell the hard to find tubing donuts which work real well for tight bends. Their website is www.chassisshop.com

+1 for Chassis Shop. There's also Heartthrob here in MN. A lot of their stuff is available through Whitney.

If your looking for exhaust stuff......try:

    burnsstainless.com or dr.gas.com

I use them both & they have a vast selection.

+2 for the chassis shop. I hate their catolog. I want at least one of everything.... The staff are all knowledgable. One of the female staff builds Rock Crawler Rigs.

You might try www.drgas.com I bought some tube from him a few years back. I think he had different sizes available. Speedway has a few also. Flatheaded
