This years event is shaping up to be much bigger than last year with vendors, swap meet & live music. Mercury Charlie is sponsoring a special cl*** just for Kustoms and has hand made a beautiful trophy for the winner, makes me wish that I had a Kustom. Unlike other events we do allow coolers! (no beer vendor). The local motels are filling up quick but the Best Western in seguin still has some rooms available.

I forgot to mention, If you must bring your dog, children or wild woman, Keep them on a leash!! and don't forget your pooper-scooper!! But seriously the event is on a working airfield and which should be considered a dangerous enviroment!!

Man I envy you guys in Texas. It's already down in the 40's here in the Mid-Atlantic states. I'm trying to stay warm and you folks are heading to a Hot Rod Picnic. Have fun and stay safe.

  13. Y'all take some good pictures, were stuck in D/FW due to weather.
One day we really will make this show. :|

Yeah but later on Skot "smoked" Casey, literally!:D

Paul, thank you and the others responsible for putting this on, really had a good time.
Also thanks to Skot and the others who brought out the vintage planes. Very cool mix, hot rods and vintage airplanes.
Enjoyed getting to see the tools, parts and works in progress in the restoration shop. We think we have a hard time finding parts, they sometimes start out with an engine block and a gas tank!!
First time there, definitely won't be the last! Very enjoyable way to spend a nice, relaxed fall day with a bunch of really friendly and cool people. Thanks again to everyone who had a part in putting on this show.
Oh yeah, almost forgot! Was really nice Meeting Krazy Kate and seeing her really beautiful modified. Paul, all day everyone I saw kept asking if I had seen that beautiful car.
