Sorry about the ***le, but couldn't help myself ,......

I get emails from Sunny DePalma from time to time,... He builds all kinds of strange and wonderful things and is a outstanding artiest,
Today I open the email, and he built a 1/8th scale Deuce coupe,...
but it looks kinda like a car we all know and love:cool:, one he seen at the Detroit Autorama,....... No,.. it's not dead on,.. but you can't deny the similarities or where the inspiration came from

    Here's Sonny's link

I sent these pictures to Littleman earlier today,.... but just had to share them with all of youz,... It's hard to believe he paints everything by hand !

There's a guy in N.Y. that resin casts the 3 and 5 window body to work with the monogram 1/8th Deuce kit,... but I don't think this is one of them,... Sonny even made the garnish moldings,... lot's of 1 off stuff built for this car,... If you want to see some amazing stuff go to his web sight.

For those interested in building a 1/8th scale '32 coupe, either a 3 or 5 window , you can obtain a resin cast body from a company in CA. called eDeuce, which is run by a gentleman named Mike Gratis. ( web site is www.edeuce.com) Unfortunately the gentleman from New York who was previously mentioned and had made the master patterns made for these bodies p***ed away a couple of years ago. His name was George Zurowski, and was the driving force behind marketing 1/8th scale bodies and numerous components for those of us that like to build large scale models. So check out M.G.'s website.

I deal with Eduece and he has a very high quality product. As with all resin, some cleanup is required. Also I deal with Scalemotorcars, which also has lots of bodies, with more coming, also engines...flatheads, arduns, scot blowers, he has it.

  17. I didn't have time enough to get a good look at those at Billetproof, I saw he had the JJ RC car there, but that's the only one I know I saw for sure.
