I must now build a small block Ford just like the one pictured above. Dunno how rare the Mickey Thompson blower manifold, front cover/dist drive and valve covers are, but I want some. My SBF M/T valve covers don't look like those. I like the ones shown above even better. Must have some!

I'm gonna bump this. The SBF above reminds me of the engine "Sneaky" Pete Robinson used in his first Ford powered fueler. Pete was obsessed with weight concerns, and went to the little Ford for that advantage. This is when Ford during the Total Performance era noticed him and they partnered in a factory effort.

I'm with HF on that one! Nice looking schtuff! I had some M/T valve covers a loooong time ago, but they were much "squarer" & "blocky" than those - those do look cool.

What kind of block is that? Aftermarket? Got any pics of the side & bottom of the block? I don't remember screw-in freeze plugs in the front of the block...

Ernie that's how the new "BOSS" blocks are. Machine threads with a special made plug and O- ring seal. Screw in core plugs with pipe thread distort the block. Pretty cool feature eh?

These Hilborn injectors are cool, and would be neat sticking through the hood of a Falcon g***er.

I guess I just didn't realize they had 'em on the front of the block though...I knew they had the screw-in plugs, but having never actually seen just a bare block, or enough of it to see (only seen installed engines in Boss cars), ***umed (danger!) they only were on the sides...
