I am having a problem attempting to locate a company who can make water slide decals for me. I have called Mysterion Screenprint a few times, no return phone call and no answer only an answering machine. Anyone know anyone/company?
Call Jerry at Decals USA in Mitchell NE. 800-826-8271 Tell they (Jerry or Janet) that Ken from Past Lane sent ya. They are great people and do quality work. Screen printing multi color decals is harder than self adhesive due to the changes in humidity, the paper grows & shrinks during the print run unless you have a killer climate control system.
I don't know any companies that make them, but here's a link to an excellent 2004 tech post from "whizzerick" that shows how to make them yourself: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8313&showall=1 .
You should ask Ryan where he had the HAMB/Jalopy Journal water slide decals made. They are very good quality.
The HAMB Decals were made by Mysterion Screenprinting, he must be on vacation or he doesn't return phone calls...
That is my pal, Jim Sorensen. Give him a little time. Might try PMing him. He's Oscar73 on the HAMB, I think.
If you can't locate someone to do your decals try old striper here on the HAMB.......Don is in Washington state, and a great commercial artist........he also does repops of old decals as well as originals.... Go here: http://www.hotrodmotors.com/ Tell Don Brucie sent ya.......no discount, but he'll think you're cool.... Brucie ;^)
If you just want to go your own road and be a Lone Wolf..... "Testors" model company makes a kit that you can print and make your own right from your computers printer. Here's a link: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXESK4
