My daughter is on the road heading our way for Thanksgiving. We haven't seen her since she left for Afganistan. She got back on American soil Saturday night....safe and sound. We are thrilled to have her home, but know there are families whose loved ones are still over there, and we will be thinking of them tomorrow.
Bless her, Thank her, and I will also be thinking of all those others that won't be home with there family's for Thanksgiving........ Big Dan
You truly have some thing to be thankful for , and like Tman said thank her for us ,we are very thankful for what she is doing. May God Bless Louver Dude
Thank you for posting this thread. This will be my first Thanksgiving, Christmas, Birthday, and anniversary that I have been home in 4 years because I've either been in Afghanistan, Iraq or training to go. Welcome home and happy holidays to your daughter.
That's one of the worst parts of being in the service, the holidays away from home! A BIG thank you to all who serve and have served. jerry
We're all proud of her! Glad she's back at home with the family. Give her a hug from some guy in Missouri! Mootz
Just got done serving turkey to my guys here in Iraq. Happy thanksgiving to everyone. I'll be here doing it again next year as well. Gonna miss both the 07 and 08 holidays. Gotta love them 15 month tours.
