You have a great eye- how many million pics do you take to get 'em down to the top thousand? Any full on pics of the green custom at the top, and any more of Rick Dore's latest?

I have thought about doing that show - is it as good turnout for spectators as the other shows?

Like.........is it as good as Indy?
    or
    better than Joliet?

    on par with KC?

just curious so I will know what to do next year

I must have stared at this beast for half an hour. Soo *** rock, but with a hint of cl***. Twin Turbo Mid Engine Big Block & Crushed Velvet interior. I never did see the owner.

    He matched the van perfectly.

  7. It was great to hang out with you the whole weekend and a little at the open house. Thanks for taking pics of my car and pops car as well. The new right hand quarter panel is going in a few weeks since I had to make a new one with new body lines in it.

That black and white shoebox convertible was powered by a 502 BBC.

The van had a twin turbo PONTIAC engine. Very cool.

Kirk! - It was cool to meet you in person, and also to see el polacko's truck too.

My son thought it was cool sitting next to Boyd and his wife at the awards table...

    You accidentally forgot this one...

    Damn! THIIIIIIIIS close!

...I believe it began it natural life as a '41 Ford COE. Trip, huh?

...and KIRK! What's with the pic tease? Is this over that article... you ARE bitter! I just KNEW it! (If I knew how to do the crying like a little girl smiley, it would be within these parentheses...)

    xoxo!

OK, I'm seeing it now...that's where the narrow cowl came from. Ford carried over the same basic cab on the COE from 38-47...that's why the reveal looks like the 38-39 pickup and truck cabs.

Whoever built that had a VERY creative mind. I like it.

I don't know why, cause everything in me tells me not to like it, but this van is so stoner rock that it RULES!

Someone else thinks your dad is hot too. Check out the guy in the black t-shirt in back... is he licking his lips or what?!

Great pics and you even liked my green and black 28 Tudor enough to shoot it. Maybe CurbSpeed will drop his Olds motor on me and I can replace the Chevy II 4 banger.

I know this is just another run of the mill 56 chevy g***er, but did you happen to get any other shots of it? Maybe in the background of another shot?

BTW, thanks for the great coverage of these events, and the gazette is better than some of the mainstream mags for variety and coverage.

OK... to recap; I asked earlier in the thread if you had any decent pics of my '66 Chrysler 300 (Bellflower custom, green & silver 'flake), as HotRodRon & So-Cheap said you snapped a few while I was trolling the swap. When I didn't get a response, I went back to jr. high and called you a tease...

The article is a tech. article that I never wrapped-up and submitted that I committed to months ago...

Clear as an unmuddied lake? ...as an azure blue sky of warmest summer? :)
