    I am in the process of building a '23 T bucket with a Ford 302 block / 351W heads.

The engine block I received originates from a late 80's Ford, probably a truck. The engine plate located near the back of the intake manifold adjacent to the bell housing is practically illegible. Therefore, the history of this engine is extremely muddled. The casting on the timing cover is stamped with a E7TZ identifier. What I am trying to find out is whether the timing cover I have will accept a standard rotation water pump for v belt setup (crank/alternator/water pump pulleys only). The limitations on file size prevent me from attaching the photographs I have available. However, the water pump that has ports and mounting holes compatible with my timing cover can be found at this link:

The numbers E7TZ are just the prefix and they cover thousands of ford parts there should be more numbers behind that . If you can make out any of block numbers PM me and I can help you nail down which motor you have .

Oh yea the block numbers should be behind the starter - ya might have to drop the starter to find them .
