Can anyone please post a picture of a eelco style 3x2 progressive linkage on a sbc running stromberg 97's? The problem I'm having is when at full throttle the outer carbs are only open half way?
    Pictures would be great!!

On center carb, attach linkage far from axle on throttle-body. It'll give you longer arc. On sides, attach linkage near that axle, it'll give shorter arc.
On other words; lever on center moves less than sides.

Hello..Here is a picture of progressive linkage..Notice the primary 97, how the progressive rod is attached high on the lever and the secondary is much lower..That will allow the secondaries to catch up to the primary..
    Hope this helps..
    Duane.

Here's a couple of progressive linkages I put together a couple of years ago, they are fairly easy to make and can be adjusted for opening variations.Different springs can also change the action.A lot of the parts can be bought individually so you can custom make to your design.Keep on roddin'.

Been thinking about that myself, use the #2 and #4 as primaries and #'s 1, 3 and 5 as secondaries. Anybody ever actually do it?

i wonder if it may be easier to run 3 (#1,3 &5) all the time, and then bring in the other 2.

Maybe I'm goofy but it sure looks like 2&4 as primary and 1/3/5 as secondary to me. Check out the return springs, and where the 'stop' collar is on the link rod between the groups (on the left side of the picture).
