I am not sure what I hope to/think I might accomplish with this, but someone stole a early olds/pontiac rear end from my fathers dooryard. Funny thing, it had been laying ther for 15 years. He starts cleaning up, a guy is interested in it, I am interested if the guy bails. Turns out we all get ****ed over when some chucklehead nabs it at night. So I am not sure if it was stolen for sale or s****, or to use, but if one comes up for sale soon, be aware.

I guess I mostly needed to vent. People piss me the **** off sometimes. This stealing ****, I just don't get. Where does this sense of en***lement come from? I just don't get it. J-

Sounds like maybe the guy interested in it just kinda helped himself to it. Did your father know him or know his name. Maybe if you found out you could go pay the nice guy a visit

    Southern Maine- Windham specifically.

I doubt it was the guy interested, he had already pulled a few pieces and had many other opportunities to grab it. It had basically just been exposed (out of the gr*** and onto the driveway). Its a pretty visible location (main route, but without much lighting.

Gl***guy- I always mean to chime in when your posting, but get sidetracked (I know it takes two seconds...i'm a dink). Nothing much new, just trying to gather as much stuff and knowledge for the next project. T is still in Maine, only got a few miles on this year- **** just seemed to alway come up, and I have a girlfriend so late night runs up to maine to get it for the weekend just don't happen. I do have a driveway spot now, so I'll have it down here all next summer. What about you? hows the boat, does she float yet? I'm loving the windshield- though its all chipped again. Hope to see you soon. j-

Hopefully it wasn't taken by a tweaker to be sold for s****. You can get a pretty good chunk of change for that much weight, no questions asked, and impossible to trace. Ever since they stopped allowing people to take/exchange metal from the recycling yards, it's damn near impossible to root around looking for interesting, much less stolen, stuff of that nature.
I'll keep my ear to the ground, but I'm really sorry to hear about that.

thieves are the worst, hope you get some action on finding the guy.
Its too bad that we seem to live in a world where everything has to be locked up because a small percentage of people can't respect other's property.
