Tampa Poor Boys Invade Daytona

The Poor Boys pulled into Daytona for the Turkey Rod Run on Thursday and had a great time until Sunday. We always seem to have good times when we get together, but this one was special. One of our own, Skip-o-Matic was getting hitched on Saturday. We had a little pre wedding party on Friday night at Hooters and these are some of the shots from that and the others are group pics from Saturday morning and of the wedding from Saturday afternoon.

Wish I'd have made the Friday festivities. Had a great time Saturday and Skips wedding was a ball. Gettin' hitched in Victory Lane at Daytona...priceless.
Came home with the usual sore legs and a sunburn. Who cares. It was fun and the swap meet was m***ive. Watching Roosters car getting striped was very interesting too.

Highlights of the 4-Days-of-Daytona for me .......
1. Spending quality time with my wife Jennifer, she is the Best !
2. Being there to witness my buddy Skip and Debbie share vows in the Winners Circle of the Daytona Motor Speedway
3. Sharing good times and stories with our good friend Alan of Billetproof, all the way from California
4. Having the Poor Boy Florida gang all together to share great times and a beer or 2
5. Getting to drive my 'A' all over the state, in the rain for a 140 miles on Thursday.....what a blast.
6. Driving my 'A' on the Daytona Beach.....how cool is that !

Skip and Debbie's Wedding was GREAT!

'Rooster' Dave, Lorene, Jennifer and I left the Speedway after Noon on Sunday, and drove back to the Beach, where we decided to cruise for a while.......taking in the sea breeze......watching the waves ....and girls in bikini's .....stoped and snapped some pictures......then headed west for the 160+ mile drive home.

What a great time for me..... I can't wait till Billetproof - Florida coming March 22nd.

I also want to Congradulate our Poor Boy member Roger on getting his Ford Wagon finished just hours before the trek to Daytona.
The car is WAY-COOL buddy with the 3-deuce 312 and the wide-whites.....I'm really proud of you, the car is *****'n !

The turkey run was a great time and i cant wait to do it again next year! Ill have a ton more pics later today.

P.S. Those Hooters waitresses are usually so intelligent, I don't understand what happened, but my credit card worked just fine at Walmart last night

A wedding at the Daytona winners circle, that says Poor Boys all over it. Looks like you guys are having way too much fun back there. Did you guys get the shirts I sent?

Really looking forward to coming back there for Billet Proof, but have to get through Christmas, new Year and the Sacramento Autorama first. Then it's vacation time!!!

Yes....we got the shirts via Alan......I loaded them in Skip's He**** for transportation back to ourside of the state. We will get together in the next week and get them out to the guys.....I was way to busy dealing with other things to get it done while I was there .

What a weekend!
A thanks to all my "Poor Boy" family for being there for the wedding.
I always have a good time when we get together.
I didn't have a chance to take any pics this weekend, but you guys have all got some really good ones.
I'll be saving alot of these pics off the HAMB. I'm sure Debi will have me printing quite a few of them for the wedding album.
She is still stoked over being able to use Victory Lane for the ceremony. She is such a NASCAR nut. The only way it could have been any better for her, is if we could have got Mark Martin to drive her into Victory Lane for her entrance.
It's a good thing I bought 20 of those rings. She has already eaten 3 of them. The "cotton candy & bubblegum"flavor are pretty good.

The "Daytona Beach Street Rod" club and the "Daytona International Speedway" were really great in helping us out with the wedding. A big thanks goes out to them also.
