The flange looks just like a 350 header flange, with a end hacked off. Are they the same or? Would like to make some headers for my 250 but need some flanges

go to the store and compare gaskets, one on top of the other...probably more different than you think

the flanges are different, there thicker, like 1/2" thick, and they have no holes, if you have an old manifold you should be able to copy the flange shape from them.

The flange for the chevy L6 is 3/8 thick. And the first and Last stud have holes. They are also 1 5/8 tube. The v8 headers do not match in anyway.

  6. If you want a good set get them from Stovebolt. Can't beat cast iron and they'll save a bunch of room over a six pipe setup.

Ok thanks for the info folks. I have a 2pc truck header on the car right now (model a) and it drags all the time. I either need to buy a set off a car 6cyl or go to manifolds, or hack what I have, hmm I like that idea
