My Antique Nationals New Ride

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Creeper Larry, May 12, 2004.

  1. I picked up thie A model last night. I didn't think I was gonna have a ride for the race in 3 weeks. Then BAM, I bump into a buddy that has this gem takin up needed space in his backyard. I need to go buy a lottery ticket or sumthin. The same thing happened last year, except I had 2 months , instead of 3 weeks. The car runs and drives, well it will after a refurb on the distributor, and a frontend swap. I can wait, another 50MPH quarter mile pass. Yee Haw. Creeper

I agree 100% with Bornwithatail, I love it. I want one now.
Incidentally, when I saved the pic, it seems you have titled the photo something about "toilet." Why is this?

  7. Wow. I need to move to the west coast. Good score!

Hey, if you hear about a THIRD one, lemme know...

  17. I'm not gonna change a thing on this car!!!!! I love the way it looks,it's like a time capsule. It was a coupe originally, but someone needed a tan I guess. I'm gonna put a log intake with 2 97's, and a torquetube header and call it done. I don't even want to lower it, it's kinda different. It reminds me of those late 30's lake jobs. Creeper

When I right click on it, it says "403030-toilet2" as the file name before I changed it...

great find, doesn't look like she needs anything but rid of that trailer. Not that i'm implying she's only going to be trailered, just that she looks a little lost up there.I'd like to say i give my left nut to find something like that but around here somebody might take me up on it [IMG]

  24. I know the trailer is abit on the nice side. The funny part is - $3500 trailer behind a $500 truck. It's my dad's trailer, and it sure tows easy.

Jeep distribute is an even easier swap. [IMG]

  28. I might have a lead on an old Mag for the Banger. For now I'm gonna redo the stocker to get me down the strip at the Nats.

  29. Hinges on a welded door? Was this thing owned by an Irishman? [IMG]
