After reading the "Whats you favorite 4 cylinder hot rod project...", (awesome thread by the way), I can't stop thinking about the Iron Duke motors. Seems like an old S10 w/ Iron Duke/ T5 would be a great donor car for a modified. Anyway, I am looking for in info, about these engines: performance, speed parts, tech, pros, cons, and of course pics. Thanks in advance...
Farmcal, In my future projects pile is my"duke" 1980 jeep 4 cyl.GM motor has chev.V-8 bellhousing pattern on block,flywheel is different however.Be careful mixing parts from one engine to another,some parts look alike but are not.Get a complete rear wheel drive motor and use all the original parts.Some performance parts go thru E-bay also. good luck,glider.
