    Anybody near me?

I'm working on a 49 Chevy biz coupe. Got v8, s-10 5-speed, nova rear. In process of chopping top now.

    Here's a pic after 3.5" chop

Hello & welcome from Levittown PA. The 49 looks like it will be nice when done. I am finishing up a rewiring on my 50 coupe next week hopefully.

I'll definitely stop by. Don't have too many pics. The ones I have are from a cell phone. I'll try to take some more and post.

I'm learning my way through it. Never chopped anything before.

Here's some more pics if anyone is interested. It's not pretty but I think this chop is working out. Still a lot of work to do.

The chop looks great. It's hard to get the right look. You got it correct. A friend and I chopped a 51 fleetline . I am attaching a pic after the chop. We found that 1 3/4 inches took away the bulk but left it looking fairly nice.

Thanks Hotrod man. If it was a sedan I would have chopped more... But since it is a coupe I just wanted to get the goofy look out of it without making the quarter windows too small. Do you have any more pics of the 51? Looks good.

a late welcome from another Bucks County guy. Your project looks great, love seeing the progress pix. Hope to see at a few events this spring.- Any car clubs around here that don't require you to have a pre-48 and spend 30 grand on digital and fiberglass add-ons to be a member?

working on a 61 F-100 unibody project here...

Hey cat I'm one of the Deadbeaters right in Philadelphia. You should come out to our event March 1st in Gloucester City. Do a search on the HAMB for Gloucester and the post about the show will come up. If you dont have a car to bring the event is gonna still be a gass. Hope to see you.
