I am interested in the P&J combo Headlight and Shock mount.

    Part Number 1095.

    Anyone own a set?

    Do you like them?

I've put quite a few pairs on ch***is at our shop. Everyone seems satisified with them. I agree with spoole they are a tad tall.

I too agree that they need to be cut down. I shortened and narrowed mine to get the lights low and close to the grill shell on my A. They do make a nice clean set up though.

I have them on the truck, they work good, and they look nice too. Make sure the steel that you are attaching it too is solid. I have seen it where the steel cracks and starts comming appart like the top from a tuna can around the mount.

  10. I considered using them on my Model T project. A vendor at one of the Goodguys events hand them and let me make a template on cardboard. When I put the template up to my ch***is it was obvious they would not work. In my case to short! So I bought just the headlight cups from P&J and made my own. Think I saw a post where another HAMBer also made his own mounts using P&J cups.

I have a set on my 33 roadster. I made adapter plates that allow them to bolt into the stock 33 ford fender brace holes.
They are not to tall for my application.

Here are some photos of the finished product. They are a perfect height for my 33 roadster.

    That looks very clean!

Like the mounting braket vs welding to the frame. Makes it easy to take them with you if you sell your ride!

Well, HRP, you can now add a year because it's just been dug up again!

7 years later, I think the OP has probably moved on.
