Someone mentioned it in a previous thread, but I can't seem to find any photos. Anybody got any? I would love to see this car.
This one? It's been 2 toned, but I think it's the car. I'd rather have the 49 his dad built though.....................I'm just sayin.
its a 35 master i have a card for it someware but i dont have a scaner. and it was in one of those towel adds you know the ones that say drys the best at the bottom. as are a lot of the foose cars
You probably mean the '54 that Foose recently built for Rydell,...it won Good Guys Custom of the year.
either the camera angle is fed up or the body looks sectioned but it just has a weired stance the shoe box that is
sorry i jacked that up. but ive seen both at wes' hobby shop in grand forks all be it was be for the 50 was started. the one cool part was he had a stock 35 master sitting next to the foose one
It was built by Boyd,...albeit designed by Foose. It was originally all black. The windshield has been laid back and the roof was chopped above the driprails,...pretty slick!
Wes has driven the wheels off the 50. How many Boyd-build cars has that happened to? I've seen Wes cruising in the 54 many times. The Ridler car is (naturally) an exception, but Wes really enjoys driving his cars.
Wes is a great guy. He was kind enough to trade a 33 sedan that he had for a nice 41 chevy I owned. I first saw this 33 in 1968. To make a long story short, Wes wound up with it. When he heard I had an interest in the 33, he offered the trade. he really treated me right. And I got to find out first hand about his cars and the Toy Store. He drives the **** out of his cars.
