My buddy EYEBALL asked for some painting tips, so these are the results with some help from new technology my kids got me for XMAS. I thought I'd share with the HAMB. Not the best (no OSCAR nominations) but good basic info.

EYEBALL chose U-TECH single stage black (a less expensive line from sikkens, but an excellent quality paint).

Blow out the shop and sweep at least a day in advance of the painting operation. Blow yourself off before spraying--BUT NOT NEAR THE JOB!!

To check for static electricity on a car--hold your bare arm next to, but NOT touching, the body. If the hair on your arm tingles, let it set before painting. Fibergl*** cars can have UNBELIEVABLE static in them.

Wetting the floor down (NO FLOODING_PLEASE) will help keep dust down and the humidity helps disipate static electricity. Watch that you don't drag the hose thru the water and splash on the paint.

I think you need to be a professor at a college teaching spray techniques, really who needs a "learn to paint" book when you can spend a few minutes watching those video's and learn just as much AND see it demonstrated.

Thank you for that I have just learned more by watching your videos than searching the internet for hours and then learning threw trial and error. I really wish i had a way to save the videos to use as a guide for the future.

There are ways to save great videos like these but I don't want to get anyone upset at me in case they are trying to protect their work.
E.P. might come sing to me!
You could get a "kid" to help. Most of them know about downloading videos. ;)
