Then, at about 4 years old, I was ready to drive the Henry J

  4. When I was five years old, I had a pretty cool pedal powered thing called a "**** car" .... until my mom backed over it in her '62 Ford wagon and flattened it.

As some one in PA said..".it takes a real man to cut one up..."
Looks like a lot of shrinking needed before the license too.:)

What a cool picture! And car too! If it wasn't for the mig in the shot you could almost picture the same shot taken 50 - 60 years ago.... Hell you still can.

    Looking good

My dad bought a 34 coupe in 1955. I remember riding around the block in the rumble seat...Mom made him sell it.

The one that I remember is my first ride in a neighbors 36 Ford 3 window coupe. It had a 283 in it with a Lincoln transmission running to the stock rear. Went around the block once or twice enjoying the hell out of it. Shortly after that the guy pulled it in his garage and there it sat for God only knows how many years til he p***ed away. I talked to his brother about the possiblity fof buying it, but he wasn't ready to part with it. Then about three years ago the garage burned. I went by and all kinds of stuff had fallen down on the car and it was pretty ugly looking....it was a shame to see that happen to a nice car to start with, but it was the one that got me hooked on hotrods
