DEC 2007 Houston HAMB Cruze night

I apologize up front for tossing this out during TECH week, but the reminder needs to be up and out there.



The calendar does not lie...this coming Sunday is the first sunday of the month, and that means it's Houston HAMB cruze December 2007.

Place: Jimmy's Place Ice House on White Oak (near Fitzgeralds) not far from the intersection of Studamount and White Oak (White Oak is 6th street on the other side of Heights Blvd. and on and changes to White Oak on the other side.

Time: Kicks off at 2:00 p.m. and lasts as long as it takes.

Attire: Black chucks, Black t-shirt, greasy jeans, engine grime under fingernails.

At***ude: Cool, of course.

Talking points:
- Preparing for winter with even darker pair of sinister sun gl***es
- Handling characteristics of lowered cars verses g***ers on launch
- How much time you actually spend cleaning dirt and grime off old parts compared to actual ***embly
-Richard D going to a full cab vs. an RPU
-Brad Blacksix's roadster in black or brown DP90?
-tcoupeKyle quiting his job to go all out build!
-Los Cochino's sweeping the trophy case at the Houston Autorama!!!

All are invited, showing up in a hot rod is encouraged but not mandatory, life threatening addiction to the HAMB and deep love of all things hot rod required.

The place is outside with plenty of room and parking.

Lucky Strike normally does these, but I see we haven't got it out there yet......So here goes.

 

Hell yeah! I've been working lots of overtime and will have a pocket full of cash! Buckets all around!

Wyatt, thanks for the ***ist man! Woulda done it myself but was helping an old guy (Ray) adjust the valves on his 51 GMC last night. Man, he is one meticulous, gotta-be-perfect, restoration kind of guy....so, I kept suggesting that he ditch the original six and drop in a blown big block. I gota kick out of watching him cringe.


Hell yeah, you know I'll be there.

I've gotten 3 or 4 PMs from dudes who have never been before saying they are going to make this one. Should be a good turnout!

If you are new to the Cruze night, avoid Richard's vicious attack dog which he tends to keep chained up to the bench he is sitting on, drinking.

Oh yeah, I spent damn near a whole day in the garage. Its 9:34 and I'm just typing a bit, then back out there. Not doing anything ubber cool, just cleaning organizing, realizing I have too much sh!t and need to sell some. ****!! I'll be ready by beer :30 tomorrow.

 

I'll be buying at least a couple buckets of Lone Star.

DAMN IT I forgot, also the old truck took a major **** on me this week collapsed lifter, cracked intake, rocker nuts keep backing off, Its 5.30 and I just got done. Sory I couldn't make it let me know if ya'll are going to be at any other little events like this this month
