Well its been awhile since postin much on the HAmb.So for a few that have been askin heres what I am knee deep in right now.I have been buildin quite a few bikes the last couple years and have not been real involved in the hot rod projects. Got the rpu close to being done and a buddy wanted to buy it and finish it so it found a new home.

Well while out in Sturgis showing one of my scoots at the top 50 show and hanging with my old pal Crazy D we got to talkin bout me needin a new project so here it is spent along time in the chicken coop on a ranch in the prairie lands till it came home with me in August.Pretty much a perfect example of a rust free late 31 coupe.Been hittin it hard since the first of sept and the plan is to meet Crazy D in Mo at the Rust Revival in may..

So She is a roller baby only thing left to do to the chassis is make the steering box mounts.Waiting on my wood kit for the roof and then its time to start makin the body take shape then do the rest of the new sub rails and floor from the channel job.The qtrs in the pics are extras that I repaired which I am gonna sell to help fund the rest of the project.Car came with 4 sets so I am gonna use the best set for the car. This one aint gettin no hair cut either I like the way she looks now.Me being 6'1" I want to be as comfy as I can while driven.

Because of the hemi and the size of it I am gonna be forced to use a vega cross steer set up not the most traditional type of steering but works well and keeps the rails and side view clean looking.Plus the headers may change as I am buildin this car to get out and drive as well as go so I need some way of cappin them so I can hear my sirus radio and make sure the air is working while driving....... [IMG] HAHAHAHA

Air will be 70 with the windshld cranked open and the windows down [IMG]

Gotta thank Crazy D for the hook up and my old pal Abomber3o(Drew) for the hook ups and everyone else along the way.

I thought the guy that sold it to me said it was a thirty 2 so is 15,000 to much for this body.....:D

Yeppers this is it I cant hardly wait to get this F'er running pretty straight forward text book hot rod cept for one little thing.I am got me a little top secret trans in her.Seems with a little work and enginuity I was able to adapt a five speed from a Dodge dakota r/t pickup truck so this means a 4.10 gear for go and 5th ger for cruisin at highway speeds.

Not sure I will make it to Detriot with it but who knows.I got a 50 Panhead thats gettin Jealous waiting to be finished....HAHHAHA

the firewall really has not been recessed.

I actually just cut the firewall out to clear the bellhsg/blk area. From other dealings with hemis did not want stuff being way back under the cowl.I also wanted the lowest part on the car to be the frt axle so with that said after talking it over with RandyD when the frame was jigged up I cut it in half and added 4 inches right in front of the cowl as to not mess up the proportions but leave plenty of room for the big ass motor. So with the bbc shrt w/pump the mustang radiator sits on top of crossmember with plenty of room for the fan.
