Is there anybody interested in a SplitDore mag. This is a cam drive mag. I bought it 2 years ago and not going to use it. We didn't get any spark from it and i have not been able to find anybody to rebuild it.I can get pictures to post if there is any interest. Every thing seems to be there.

Sure, i'd like to see some pics of it, especially how it hooks up to the cam.

So I fired mine tonight. Just for about 20 seconds. I planned on running it long enough to break int he cam tomarow, but noticed the rear main is leaking. I don't know a lot about these engines, and know that is part of the problem- lack of info. I left the oil drain back tube off the rear main cap, due to the previous builder installing a restrictor instead of a plain tube. I do not know if this is my problem or not, but may be an idea. So before I can run it I guess I have to tear the pan off and check it out...any help or thoughts?

Please plasti gauge the rear main cap and let us know what you get with it shimmed as is. I went from .015 to .001 thousandth and the leak stopped. I just removed all the shims and it was still within spec at a thou. Worked for me .

Yeah, I will. Thanks Sawracer. You will probably be right...I hope anyways. Easy and painless is always the best, but my luck it'll take forever and a day to figure it out ;) Here we go again...
