That will be a fun project. Can you show us some more photos, and posseble history on it. Looks like a heavy choped custom from the late 50's
Looks like they sunk the roof. That's how they did a lot of chops back then, even the Merc in American Graffitti was done that way. Some didn't even cut the gl***, but created a channel for it to slide down in.
Looks more like a '55 Pontiac with a '57 Buick grill insert. More & Bigger pics from all angles would be Cool !
wow,,,,a cool old kustom with some history,,,, definitely post more pictures of that car.. i still cant believe a post like this slips to page 2 or 3 while o/t-********-drama-are 4 doors cool?-how to fill trim holes with silly putty- posts stay on page one
Was the car a Jersey car? probably in the post but I missed it. Good that it's going to be resurrected. TP
Do you have any pictures from the rear? This car is really bugging me, I know I've seen it before, but I can't place it!-MIKE
I have some beautiful shots from the 85 Leadsled Nats in Springfield Ohoi. The car was probably done in the 80s
It looks well made, but I don't like the drastic chop, bring it up a few inches and that car would RULE!! Glad to hear your going at her!
I knew it would come one day.. the day I could not remember ALL the photos I have on my site.. (only about 40.000) I only wish it was not for another 10-20 years Anyway... LOST ANGEL has put them up already. Will be a great car to see back on the road.
Hey Rik, I knew you had to have something in your collection. For some reason that front end was real familiar. Hope it can be saved.-MIKE
WOW! nice find. What are your plans? It would be nice to see you keep in touch with the original concept. Even though it may have been built in the 80's, it's still part of our custom history. Good Luck with it.
Oldrods, I think my dad had a hand in that as well...wasnt that down town Bridgman, a bit of a basket case, and mike straightened it out?
