There are one or two threads here with refference to it. The son of the guy who built it is a member here. There is a 190ish page thread following it's entire build at......

I think its the "side" cut that makes it look like that.I noticed that on a few other ones.

I remember this on ePay a little while ago - a few thousand miles and a few thousand dollars too far for me! Don't think it met the reserve then - did it sell in the end?

A mate built this back the '80s (actually rebuilt is more accurate as it was originally built in '72). It has a 2-1/2 litre Daimler hemi.

I don't believe it did as I saw it go up there twice. The owner's name is Bruce... Royalshifter knew it as a local Fresno car when I posted the above pics in the "60's Style Rod" thread.

Yeah VonFranco, how perfect are those slicks on the reversed Merc wheels? I'll attach more pics showing what I believe is an uncut w/s frame on that car. It appears the top comes down maybe 2" to meet the front...

Funny seeing the gamut of T's in this thread...

Unbelievable it hasn't yet sold at that price! Alan Kahan (Aaron's dad) sent me the link to that back in August, and I know he was seriously tempted then... with all the interest in "survivor" cars now, you'd think finding the right buyer would only be a short trip to the GNRS or the LA Roadsters' show away...

    Which one?

The green one appears to have Cragar S/S on the back with either Astro smoothies or Halibrands up front... could use a larger scan of that one.

The BEAUTIFUL black one has early ('37-'40?) Ford 16" steelies... the fronts look skinny enough to be V8-60's?

This car was built using a fiberglass body, not sure who's though. Now I know you guys hate the turm ratrod, however, for anybody that may be interested you can find his build thread over at www.ratrodsrule.com. Just do a search for donsrods or I'm a happy camper. You will be truely impressed with his building skills on this T.

  18. This one I built for my son. This is on the beach, New Smyrna Beach Fla 383 tpi motor.

T buckets can be awsome... i just wish i was closer to being done with mine!!! these pictures are outdated, because I have a transmission, and have the front axle mounted, and the front brakes... slowly, but its getting there...

Normally I would not like a car like this...but it has a certain Hot Wheels look to it and it makes me like it. You can probably drive the living hell out of it as it has sooo much tire for grip.

    Here is my Water heater,
Runs best when it's cold outside (35F). Drove it to Vernals Saturday morning for breakfast, ran great. It's a never ending project , but gets better every year...
