Appears to be Ray Browns REMR with a different nose, so probably later than 49.

    I see it!

  8. Not only appears to be Ray Brown's car... that's Ray Brown on the left.

And the shoebox convert in the background appears to be a '50.

There were still telephone poles crossing the salt back in the day.
    It's old.

  10. Royalshifter, thank you for posting this pic.

Car is Ray Brown's T. Pic most likely taken at Bonneville in 1950. Ray had number 19a for '50. In 1951 I believe Ray ran a Bellytank at Bonneville.

A detail that doesn't matter... but my eye went right to it. The Back window in the shoebox convert has been unzipped. Must of been hot on the salt that day!

I'll join in...I have posted this before, but here is a picture of my grandfather at Bonneville in 1950, the first year I believe. That 3 window is still around today.

The first year for Bonneville Speedweek was 1949 - that's why the guys who attended the first one are called "49ers".
And the 50th Anniversary race was 1998.
