i know that Chevy Rumble Magazine isnt what most people here read, but a lot of people do and it is our first cover, so bear with me and my excitement. :D

yesterday our shop, Fast Eddie Hot Rod Shop, made the cover with our 57 chevy convertible that we did last year, and got a full 10 pages featured about it and most are from the build from start to finish. Last month we had a 6 page feature on the 63 409 Impala SS we did, and this month, we made the cover of the january 2008 issue. Not bad for a shop of 4 guys full time (2 of them are the bosses/owners) and one part time in 2 separated rented buildings in the little town of lamar, missouri.

It might not be to the taste of everyone here, but i would hope that people could at least appreciate the amount of work and craftsmanship that went into it. So if you are out and about, at least pick it up and thumb through it!

that's really exciting!! i've been doing exhaust work for the last 20 yrs. the last 6 yrs all i did was hot rod stuff. i've had alot of the cars i've done in mags and even features but, my only negative was that it was my job to hide the exhaust so it wasn't seen and i always did that so you don't see alot of my work. that's kinda ironic. i did the best of show truck at the sema show the yr before last. that was really neat. that truck was 39 40 ford black with some beautiful tan flames on it! we thought that was a wierd color but man does it look good. it travels with dupont to all the shows any way that's a big deal gettin the cover!!!

I read the article. Beautiful work! How about some background on where they found that car. It looked as though it was fairly complete and parked for quite some time. I hesitate to use the term "barn find" but that's what it looked like.

Tim or Brian, not sure which one is writting, its great see you two doing something you love so much. I know Tim has dreamed of this for many years and know he is living that dream. That is the goal of most people but few can really make it happen...and they sure did. Very happy for you!
