Hi guys, I have been a lurker for a while now, thought I would reg&post up since I finaly got a rig that is more to this boards style. :D

I am a 4wheeler at hart therigs so far include

86 toyota PU on 38in swampers, hydro ***ist stearing, dual Tcases, locker/spool etc. goes wherever I point it, and a few places I dont

71 Fj40 factory soft top model. Its soon to be complete, its accualy for the girl, to use as a beach rig, and a mild wheeler. I built it from the ground up, frame off, galvy frame, 2.5in susp lift, 33in mud terrians, 3/16in body pannels, in case she decides to dent it in a parking lot. Surf blue in color, vortex bedliner on the inside to keep the rust down : D

    Now for the NEW truck

52 chevy 1/2ton PU. I have always wanted to build an older truck or car, and this one presented itself. The former owner is a buddy of mine who bought it as a basket case, for $1200. Fast forward 6-7 years and alot of hounding him to sell it to me.

$500, and alot of grunting, pushing, pulling, and winching got it home :D
The body is pretty solid, frame is MINTY! she needs paint bad, its already got a 350 that was supposedly rebuilt. Looks like a th350 trany also, 10bolt rear. Got a whole truck bed fulll of parts, along with another 70's vintage bed with the deal.

Right now, I need to make it RUN. It needs a complete wireing setup. Long term I am thinking 3-4in chop, 2in drop spindles, drop the rear the same... maybe someday build a 4link and bag it.

Color? Flat or satin black, no frills AT ALL. I want it to look and sound MEAN. All parts will be traded for/cheep/free. I am sick of throwing money at vehicles, I want this one to just GO
Pics and build up thread pending...
