i never really found a home for these f1 setups while i'm waiting for my project to come together, so they got tossed in a milk crate. thats nothing new, but i also got one of those $10 mini HF furniture moving dollys, stuck it under it so it can get moved around easily.

but the cool thing is milk crates are made to stack. so i can layer on the heavy parts storage, and move it out of the way when i need to get into this tool or that one. this isn't a permannat resting place for them, but only sticks around till i put them on the axle.

since i make a lot of gates/ fences i always have to haul away the old ones. people are always junking these. they usually are still good just not fashionable enough, (well here at least. )

i needed some legs for my welding table so this one came home with me. i cut it to size and welded it up.

they also make it easy to store those nicely wrapped cables with some j hooks

aslo weld on a piece of tube to your welding table, it holds your mig gun nice and handy.

i have this pedestal ring roller, i only need it on occasion to roll rings, rather than bolt it to the floor and always take up valuable shop space. i put it on a plywood base whith some shorty casters. i threw the weight set plates, to keep it form tiping over. now when i need it i just roll it out from under the bench.

and incase you are wondering why i have some gay purple and turquise drawers.... i got all my shop cabinets form an old dental office, they were made to store tools, so lots of little drawers. i just have to reface them all. got some cool plans for that, just not the bigggest priority right now.

i got a tombstone arc welder off craigslist for $40

it barely ever gets used, so it needed some wheels to roll it out of the way. i kept borrowig the dolly from under my milk crate stack. so i got the old wheels from a red wagon i cut up to recess my firewall.

i extended the axle with some 1/2"tube and welded it on, i then put the wheels that came with my band saw in front.

the cables were always all over the place so some bent sheet metal gave them a home

it was a bit too short so it needed a handle
not to take up too much space i welded on the wagon handle and hinge, so it folds down in back

i positioned it just right so as it swings up, it hits the welder housing and stops it from moving.
this way i can drag it all over the place.

    Great idea!!!
I ask at the local garage for empty 50 litre-oil-barrels, cut the top off, hammer down the sharp edges from the cut and use them as trash can, storage place for my metal stuff or in the summer as outside fire-place.If You can get old ones, they also look stylish....

    Heres another one:
To get rubber hoses etc. clean again and look like new, i wash them in the washing machine with my working clothes......but dont tell the wife!

I use the metal pans from a stove to put them under my cars, so no oil stains on the shop-floor.

My shop is in an old barn, so sometimes I dont need the whole place. I divided it up with some hung up tarps on cords, that work like a curtain.
If You grind something, it prevents Your other cars from the flying sparks.
