post pics of grille's in 49-51 mercs.

I was thinking about what type of grille needs to go in a merc. if everyone could post pics of the different types of grilles they have seen in mercs maybe it could help me decide the route I need to go.

I'd like to see if anyone has a good shot of a 13 tooth corvette grille in a stock merc opening.

so what do you think: desoto, 51 plymouth, 53-54 chevy or stock? post away!

here's mine - 54 pontiac with stock merc turn signals but I'm planning some changes in the future.

Kustom 7777 has a nice 55 desoto for sale in the parts section. Thats my favorite. Good price too!

 

And here is the hambs most hated, most of you will be happy to know that i removed them, im picking up a buick grill this weekend, 53 i think.

Definitely my favorite. The Merc is a beautiful car to begin with, but giving the grille that sleek look all the way across definitely adds something.
