I sold it this past summer so I could buy a roadster but I do miss her. Here a couple of pictures and videos I took right before I gave her up. <object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XeR6LM5sAdM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XeR6LM5sAdM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object> <object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PEoDaQzPjI0&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PEoDaQzPjI0&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object> <object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/98cumcl7hXA&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/98cumcl7hXA&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object>
BigMac. Your car is badass looking. As you can see everyone slams and chops them. Your looks great! Its got alittle something that sets it apart.
I took some pictures of mine this weekend. It's nothing to write home about but it's fun and gets me around to the local events. Eventually I'll get the dropped uprights in, the dual exhaust installed, and the seats reupholstered, which will happen as time and money allow.
As I'm a noob I'll ad mine Just on with a few little jobs for the MOT (annual roadworthiness examination). Its pretty stock and I'm probably gonna keep it that way. I like the way it looks... for now
Just picked up a '53 Deluxe Club Coupe, 84k original miles, everything works, radio, clock gauges, dome, horn, blinkers and cancel cam, one nice repaint done in the 70s-80s, All new chrome grille, bumpers, drives like a brand new 1953 Chevy,
I built this for my wife as a car for her to drive and for us to travel in. I tried to do the whole car. The frame off suspension and body work. The drive train swap. Paint and upholstery. The object was to do one complete car ourselves. Not the best but it is ours. Look close in this photo and you can see the fiberglass sleeve painted gold I made that covers one of the grille teeth. I put this over the tooth on occasion. I made another fake gold tooth with a diamond in it. Some people understand it is a gold tooth others are puzzled.
This one came from the back row of Andy's Car Corral in Modesto, 1965. The head was in the trunk, they probably figured it would cost too much to fix it & still make any money. It cost me $65, I think. Interior was near perfect.
