Yeee-haw! New job in Houston!

Praise the Lord! I have found gainful employment in Houston. After years of trying to get settled in one spot I will finally get my wish in H-town. After years of moving after 2 or so years on a project I am going to be able to put down roots. No more life of the gypsy for a while, until I can't stand being in a main office anyway.

I'm so happy.

Now I need to find a place to lay my head for about six or more months until I get the family down.

Anyone need a roommate in Houston to help pay the rent for a while?

Welcome El C but why Houston? What side of town are you looking at?

 

I have a materials management gig at a well known EPC company on Post Oak Blvd. in the home office there. When I get the family down next July sometime we will be looking in the Spring ISD or Klien ISD for a house.

In the mean time I can curl up next to the water heater in a fart sack just about anywhere. So from January through June I need a crib ANYWHERE in metro Houston. I pay my bills and drink beer, what's not to like?

i grew up in spring isd,and it has gone down hill fast over the past few years.the klein isd area north of fm1960 is much better.i have a hot rod shop in spring,stop by and say hi sometime.
